  1. You may have heard that TV manufacturer Vizio has been fined $2.2M for tracking what users were watching and then offering that data to advertisers. No other TV companies have been found to be doing the same, but just in case, here’s what you should do to make sure your viewing habits aren’t being tracked.
  2. It’s no secret that Twitter’s got a serious abuse problem. Here’s what they’re doing about it.
  3. Want to know what Facebook thinks you’re really like? Data Selfie is a Chrome extension that uses IBM’s Watson supercomputer (among other tools) to determine your Facebook “personality profile.” Sorta creepy; definitely fascinating.
  4. More on Facebook, but not creepy: they’ve expanded their Safety Check feature to include what they’re calling Community Help. Use it to offer aid (transportation, food, shelter, etc.) after a disaster or emergency.
  5. With some of the cool stuff going on in Android Wear 2.0, maybe the reports of the death of the smart watch have been greatly exaggerated.
